Agnes Lorene Clark, 96, Owensville, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, at Frene Valley in Owensville.

She was born May 16, 1924, to Fred and Ivy (Branson) Czeschin, in Avoca, Neb.

She was first united in marriage to Raymond Price, who was killed in action in Italy during WWII. She was later united in marriage to Stewart Payne Clark, Nov. 17, 1949, at Hermann.

Agnes worked at Debs Shoe Company. She later owned her own business prior to retirement. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Owensville and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed embroidery and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, Fred and Ivy; husbands, Raymond and Stewart; sisters, Mildred Helm and husband Woodrow “Smoky” and Esther Ruskaup; nephew, Donnie Moeckli; and grandson, Mark Sieckmann.

She is survived by daughter, Brenda Sieckmann and husband Harvey of Owensville; brother, Willis Czeschin and wife Rose of Bland; granddaughter, Kim Angell and husband Bryan of Owensville; granddaughter-in-law, Brenda Sieckmann-Minter of Georgia; great-granddaughters, Mercedes Angell of Owensville and Beth and Becca Sieckmann of Georgia; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 7, from 10-11 a.m., followed by funeral services with Rev. David Roth officiating, all at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home Chapel in Owensville. Burial will be at Countryside Memorial Gardens in Owensville. Visitation and services are open to the public. However, due to COVID-19 concerns, please practice social distancing and refrain from hugging or handshaking. Masks are mandatory.
