Janet Lee Flowers, 62, of Vichy, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024, at her residence.
She was born May 21, 1961, to Delbert Howard and Edna Hazel (Hamby) Kaley in St. Louis.
She was united in marriage to Jimmie Martin Flowers Jr., Aug. 1985, in Dryer, Tenn.
Janet was baptized later in life and was a member of the Tabernacle of Praise, Rolla, where she was a youth minister, helped with the youth choir, and bus ministry. She owned and operated a thrift store for four years in Rolla.
She was preceded in death by parents, Delbert and Edna; husband, Jimmie; and brother, Thomas Kaley.
Janet is survived by sons, Jimmie Martin Flowers III (Tracy Jean) of Kansas City, Waylon James Flowers, Sr., and Delbert Lee Flowers, both of Vichy; five grandchildren; brothers, Bob Hamby, and Hoss Kaley; and sisters, Jean Connelly and Delberta Kaley.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 12, from 5–6 p.m., at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home Chapel, Vienna.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 13, at 2 p.m., in Oakwood Cemetery, 662 TN-5, Dyer, Tenn., with Bro. Chris Golden officiating.
