Thank you for adding the weekly series “WORD UP” to the Advocate. It is informative and entertaining. Matthew Haines’ presentation of the word “flabbergast” caused me to give more thought than usual to the words I use in speaking and writing. Words really do matter and this weekly series brings that home in a dose that is easily swallowed.
