William “Robert” Vaill, 52, Dixon, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 2, 1965, to Jerry Edward and Betty Jean (Bilyeu) Vaill, at Rolla.
Robert was a member of the Church of Christ, Dixon. Following his college education at the University of Kansas, he worked as the regional manager for Kinkos FedEx in the Kansas City area, where he had been employed for almost 30 years. He lived near his work during his working life and had moved back to his hometown of Dixon for his retirement.
He was preceded in death by father, Jerry; and brother-in-law, Junior Alexander.
He is survived by mother, Betty of Dixon; brother, Jerry Edward Vaill Jr. and wife Debbie of Dixon; and sisters, Nancy Jean Gregory and husband Stan, Melinda Lee Alexander and Valerie Ann Sinden and husband Steve, all of Dixon.
Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018, at 1 p.m. in the West Fairview Memorial Cemetery near Dixon. Memorial contributions suggested to the cemetery’s perpetual care fund.
