Wayne Arnold Korsky, 72, Vichy, passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at his residence.

He was born April 19, 1946, to Arnold and Emily (Michalic) Korsky, at Reed City, Mich.

He was united in marriage to Thelma May Sanford, May 28, 1988, in the state of New York.

Wayne served in the U.S. Navy during the era of the Vietnam Conflict. He had currently been attending the St. James Assembly of God Church, St. James. He was employed as a truck driver for 32 years prior to his retirement in 2014 with his last employment as a driver for RBX Transport out of Springfield.

He was preceded in death by parents, Arnold and Emily.

He is survived by wife, Thelma; children, Catherine Korsky of Seattle, Wash., Kristine Klien of Rochester, N.Y., Brian Korsky and wife Lowella of Elmira, N.Y., Matthew Korsky and wife Lauren of New York City, N.Y.; step-children, Kathleen Sass of Elmira, N.Y., Linda Dacey and husband Timothy of Erin, N.Y., Julie Potter of Elmira, N.Y, Timothy Youngs and wife Penny of Vienna and Christopher Youngs of Bowling Freen; sister, Elsie Wall of the state of Florida; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 20, in the Birmingham-Martin Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Hance of United Pentecostal Church, Belle, officiating. A private disposition was held by his family on their property near Vichy.
