The Vienna Police Department reports that felony abuse of a child charges have been filed on a Vienna man following an investigation of an incident last week.

Police Chief Shannon Thompson reports that on March 15, 2019, Vienna PD officers investigated allegations of physical child abuse that occurred the previous day at a residence in the 600 block of N. Oak Street in Vienna.

As a result of that investigation Nathaneal L. Pippin, 19, of Vienna, was arrested and formally charged by Maries County Prosecuting Attorney Richard Anthony Skouby with class D felony Abuse of a Child in the second degree.

Pippen was held in the Maries County Jail without a bond until his first court appearance before Maries County Associate Judge Kerry Rowden, which is anticipated to take place this week in the Associate Circuit Court of Maries County.
