Ruby L. Wright, 85, Belle, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital.
She was born Oct. 25, 1933, to Jessie and Audy (Elrod) Baker, in Hackleburg, Ala.
She was united in marriage to Harold Wright in 1951 in Atlanta, Ga.
Ruby worked as a nurses aid in Hot Springs, Ark., and in St. Louis. She was an area resident for over 20 years and a member of Pilot Knob Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, Jessie and Audy; husband, Harold; daughters, Barbara Jean Baker and Martha Jean Krastanoff; sisters, Doris Parker and Opal Hanson; and sisters-in-law, Joanne Barker and Stella Baker.
She is survived by children, Sarah Wright, Christopher Webb and Aaron Wright and wife Sharon, all of Belle, Mario Wright and wife Holly of Vichy, Jackie Wright of Rolla, and Lula Martinez and husband George of St. Louis; brothers, Cecil and Lecil Baker of Winfield, Ala.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were held Saturday, Feb. 9, at Pilot Knob Baptist Church with Doug Goodwin officiating. Memorial contributions suggested to the family.
