Mary Ann (Libbert) Wieberg, 89, Freeburg, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, at her residence.  

She was born Oct. 19, 1929, to Theodore and Elizabeth (Bax) Libbert, in Meta.  

She was united in marriage to Norbert Wieberg, Nov. 15, 1950, to at the Catholic church in Meta.

Mary graduated from St. Cecilia Catholic School in Meta.  She loved quilting and was a member of the Rich Fountain quilting circle. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 8045 in Argyle, and Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary in Jefferson City.

She was preceded in death by husband, Norbert; son, Lloyd Wieberg; brothers, Ralph and Arthur Libbert; and sisters, Hilda Wieberg and Matilda (Tilly) Schwartz.

She is survived by children, Carolyn Patterson and husband Michael of Pueblo, Colo., Richard Wieberg and wife Linda and James Wieberg, all of Freeburg, David Wieberg and wife Janet of St. Martins, Veronica Gladish of Austin, Texas, Tom Wieberg and wife Janice of Jefferson City, Mary White and husband Mike of Huachuca City, Ariz., and Viola Prenger and husband James of Jefferson City; daughter-in-law, Lori Langelotz of Jefferson City; grandchildren, Jason Linhardt and wife Heidi, Paul Linhardt and wife Heather, Kevin Wieberg and wife Robin, Troy Wieberg and wife Sue, Bryan Wieberg and wife Vicky, Justin Wieberg and wife Jenna, Jennie Halcomb and husband Shawn, Tabatha Wieberg, Shanda Winters, Krystal Hilterhaus, Kristopher Hilterhaus, Jesse Prenger and Colin Prenger; step-grandchildren, Charlie Leonard and wife Carisa, Thomas Leonard and wife Molly and Joseph Leonard and wife Reba; brothers, Lawrence Libbert of St. Charles and Jerome Libbert of Barnett; and 20 great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held (today) Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rich Fountain, with Fr. Debo officiating. Interment will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens, Jefferson City. Memorial contributions suggested to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rich Fountain.
