Marion Catherine Keller, 98, Belle, passed away July 13, 2019, at Gasconade Manor, Owensville,

She was born Dec. 19, 1920, to Edward H. and Malenda C. (Brandhorst) Keller, in Gerald.

She was united in marriage to Cecil Ira Thompson, April 24, 1943, at Fort Sill, Okla.

In her childhood years, she lived in several places in Missouri and South Dakota with her family. She attended Union College in Lincoln, Neb., for two years. She joined the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in South Dakota, was a charter member of Owensville Seventh-Day Adventist Church and was a member of Rolla Seventh-Day Adventist Church at the time of her death. She left college in 1942 and accepted a teaching position in St. Louis at a Seventh-Day Adventist church school. For the past 72 years, she lived on a dairy farm north of Belle.

She was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Malenda; husband, Cecil; sister, Deloris White; daughter, Lois Verl Harrison; son-in-law, Kenny Rollins; and grandsons, Keith Thompson and Jonathan Harrison.

She is survived by sons, Lenard and wife Juanita and Ira and wife Diana, all of Belle; daughters, Carolyn Rollins of Cicero, Ind., and Donna Caplinger and husband Michael of House Springs; son-in-law, Michael Harrison of Fairbanks, Alaska; and 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be (today) Wednesday, July 17, at 10 a.m. at Sassmann’s Chapel, Belle, with Dale Rosette officiating.
