Leo Crider, 77, Brinktown, passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City from melanoma cancer.

He was born Nov. 30, 1940, to Sam and Anna (Sudheimer) Crider, in Vienna.

He was united in marriage to Mary Jo Otto, April 23, 1960, at Guardian Angels Church in Brinktown.

Leo worked as a truck driver and factory laborer. He was a member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Brinktown.

He was preceded in death by parents, Sam and Anna; and siblings, Norman and Lois Crider.

He is survived by wife, Mary; children, Carol Cleary of Prairie Village, Kan., Sam Crider of Jefferson City, Joe Crider of Wardsville and Traci Albertson of Jefferson City; and thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held (today) Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 4 p.m. at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Brinktown. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Sept. 27, at 11 a.m. with a visitation from 9-11 a.m. at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Brinktown with Fr. Matthew Flatley officiating. Interment will be held in Guardian Angels Cemetery. Memorial contributions suggested to masses or the Guardian Angels Cemetery Fund.
