Lawrence “Larry” Reichel, 73, Argyle, formerly of Freeburg, died Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City.

He was born Aug. 31, 1945, to Frank Andrew and Pauline Josephine (Redel) Reichel, at the Howard Clinic in Vienna.

He was united in marriage to Linda Kampeter, May 12, 1973, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Argyle.

Larry attended Holy Family grade school and Fatima High School. He was a mechanic at Quaker Window, Freeburg, for 41 years before retiring to the home farm on the Maries River in 2012. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Argyle.  

He was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Pauline; and siblings, Lorraine Reichel, Frances Hagenhoff, James Reichel and Joe Reichel.

He is survived by wife, Linda; children, Scott Reichel and wife Jackie, Travis Reichel and wife Chrissy and Trisha Weber and husband Josh, all of Argyle, and Dee Huber and husband Kevin of Westphalia; siblings, Norma Gray of Richland and Garry Reichel and Chris of Rich Fountain; and eight grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, May 25, in the St. Aloysius Church, Argyle, with Rev. Gregory C. Meystrik as celebrant. Internment was at St. Aloysius Cemetery, Argyle. Memorial contributions suggested to masses.
