Falling on the road at School of the Osage last Thursday, Meagan Fisher’s Belle Lady Tiger soccer team looked to put their first notch in the win column Friday afternoon hosting Owensville’s Dutchgirls at the Kingsford Soccer Complex.

Belle came into their second showdown with Owensville looking to avenge a 5-1 loss back on Tuesday, March 26 at Dutchmen Field.

Falling behind 1-0 nearly 30 seconds into the match, Belle wound trailing the visiting Dutchgirls 7-0 at halftime before suffering a 10-0 mercy rule defeat when the match ended near the 26:00 minute mark of the second half.

Thursday at School of the Osage, Katie Love scored the lone goal for the Lady Tigers in the first half of their 8-1 loss Thursday against the Lady Indians.

Having their Thursday, April 25 match at Crocker cancelled, Belle Lady Tiger soccer will try again in their search for the win column on the road against Laquey’s Lady Hornets on Monday, April 29 at 5 p.m. Belle’s next home match at the Kingsford Soccer Complex will be the next day on Tuesday, April 30 against Bill Kackley’s Sullivan Lady Eagles also with a 5 p.m., start.

Belle will end their regular season hosting St. Clair’s Lady Bulldogs on Tuesday, May 7 and Dixon’s Lady Bulldogs on Friday, May 10. Both matches will be varsity only starting at 5 p.m., at the Kingsford Soccer Complex outside of Belle.
