Judge Rowden sets bond at $100,000 for Tracy Ellis

Posted

Tracy M. Ellis (second from left), 43, of Vichy, the mother charged with second degree murder and child endangerment following the death of her 14-year-old disabled daughter in a mobile home fire on March 17, appeared in court before Maries County Associate Judge Kerry Rowden on Monday morning. She told the judge she has no money because she lost her job. At this point she has a public defender. Judge Rowden set a $100,000 cash or surety bond. Prosecutor Tony Skouby said it is possible her remaining two children will be witnesses and he requested Ellis have no contact with them and Judge Rowden granted this. Skouby said the two children are staying with their father’s parents.
