Helen Claudine Thiltgen, 64, Dixon, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, in the Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City.

She was born May 9, 1954, to Claude Eugene and Helen Marie (West) Chambers, at Waynesville.

She was united in marriage to Eugene Charles Thiltgen, June 19, 1971, at Dixon.

Helen was a member of the Sheppard Baptist Church near Dixon. She was employed in the Maries county clerk’s office in Vienna and the LB Manufacturing Company in Iberia until medical disability caused early retirement.

She was preceded in death by parents, Claude and Helen; and brothers, Ralph and Roy Chambers.

She is survived by husband, Eugene, of the home; children, Chris Thiltgen and wife Katy of Dixon and Donna Lynn Armstrong and husband Andrew of Fulton; brother, Tony Chambers of Dixon; and six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 6, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Chapel, Dixon, with Rev. Tom Maples and Rev. Austin McCormick officiating. Interment was in the Wheeler Cemetery, near Dixon. Memorial contributions suggested to the family.
