Harold A. Priest, 85, Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center.
He was born in September of 1933, to Acil and Ellen (Sisk) Priest, in Hornersville.
He was united in marriage to Sally Moulder, in December of 1956, in Tunas.
Harold graduated from high school in Monette, Ark., received a Bachelor of Science degree from Arkansas State College in Jonesboro, Ark., a Masters degree from Lincoln University, Jefferson City, and an Educational Specialist degree from Central Missouri State College in Warrensburg. He was a high school classroom teacher, coach and administrator for thirty years in Missouri including schools in Climax Springs, Cole Camp, Russellville, Belle and Linn prior to his retirement in 1985. He was member of Jefferson City Masonic Lodge No. 43, A.F.& A.M. and the Missouri State Teachers Association.
He was preceded in death by parents, Acil and Ellen; and young daughter, Connie Sue Priest.
He is survived by wife, Sally; and brother, Donnie W. Priest and wife Virginia of Rolla.
A Masonic service was held Tuesday, Oct. 16. Graveside services were held Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Enloe Cemetery in Russellville with Rev. Dinzel Webb officiating. Memorial contributions suggested to Enloe Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Homes, Russellville.
