George Adam Fritchey Jr., 95, Dixon, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at Phelps Health, Rolla.

He was born Sept. 10, 1923, to George Adam Sr. and Velma Tine (Young) Fritchey, in Pulaski County.

He was united in marriage to Norma Pankey, July 1, 1950, at Crocker.

George was a U.S. Army/Air Force veteran. He was a member of Dixon First Assembly of God. He had worked as an overload crane operator for Winchester Western/Olin Industries in East Alton, Ill., retiring after 39 years of service.

He was preceded in death by parents, George and Velma; brothers, Edward, Gene, Earl, Wayne, Homer and Donald Fritchey; and sisters, Ethel Lorene Thompson and Velma Lee Thompson.

He is survived by wife, Norma; daughter, Connie Randel and husband Bill of Shawnee, Kan.; and two grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 27, in Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel with Pastor Scott Ballard, Dixon First Assembly of God Church, officiating. Interment was in Seaton Cemetery. Memorial contributions suggested to the Gideon’s Bible Program.
