Don Rowden, 74, Dixon, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 28, 1944, to Almon and Mable C. (Curtman) Rowden, in Iberia.
He was united in marriage to Donna S. (Dixon) Rowden.
Don was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church in Dixon. He was a long standing member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 513.
He was preceded in death by parents, Almon and Mable; brother, Clifford Ray Rowden; and sisters, Lillie Barton, Helen Riemensnider and Eula Rotter.
Don is survived by daughters, Renee Shadow and husband Roy and LaWanda Pritchett and husband Kevin, all of Dixon; brothers, Bill Rowden of Dixon and Jerry Rowden of Harrisonville; sisters, Beulah Humphrey of Florissant and Virginia Carrol of Vienna; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will take place at a later date in the Wheeler Cemetery.
