The 71st Annual Belle Fair will be held Wednesday, July 17, through Saturday, July 20.

The parade kicks off the fair Wednesday, July 17, at 6 p.m., celebrating “The Great Outdoors”. The Belle community and surrounding areas are encouraged to bring their creative personalities to the table to make this the best parade yet.

Following the parade, fair attendees will enjoy the toddler, little mister and miss, and princess contests, as well as the queen coronation and the Belle Dance Team performance. Taking the stage later that evening is bluegrass band, Clifty Creek.

Thursday night launches with the swine show and Central Missouri Farmers Tractor Pull followed by the greased pig contest.

Collin Nash takes the stage Thursday night. Nash is known for fusing the sounds of country, southern rock and blues to create a signature sound. On any given night at a live show with Nash, attendees will hear a variety of styles from rock, to blues, and even hip-hop.

The cattle show will held Friday followed by the fair’s newest addition, the calf scramble. The figure 8 scramble and compact class derby will kick off at 7 p.m. Prizes for the figure 8 scramble will be $800 for first place, $400 for second place, and $200 for third place. Prizes for the compact class derby are $600 for first place, $300 for second place, and $150 for third place. SoulRoot and Murphy’s Ford will taken the stage starting at 8 p.m. SoulRoot’s goal is to play all of your favorites in a style that only they can deliver, always leaving you wanting more.

Murphy’s Ford is an American country singer/songwriting duo consisting of Brandon Matthews and Ryan Tomlinson both hailing from mid-Missouri. Murphy’s Ford’s modern take on country music has landed them many notable opportunities since the duo’s creation in 2013, including opening for country artists Trace Adkins, Frankie Ballard, Locash, Colt Ford, Eli Young band and many more. They also made it to the state finals of the Texaco Country Showdown in 2015 and were top 10 national finalists in the Nash Next competition hosted by Nash FM and Big Machine records in 2016.

Kingsford Cook-Off will begin Saturday at 1 p.m. At that time, fairgoers will also have the opportunity to enjoy the 4-H, FFA steer, replacement, heifer hog, goat, lamb and ham sale.

Shiloh Country will take the stage Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. to warm up the crowd for Edge of Forever – a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band. Taking first in in the regional Colgate Country Showdown and second in the state competition, they’re sure to sing something everyone will enjoy. Together for more than 15 years, Shiloh is a five-piece country band delivering skillful guitar, fiddle, bass, banjo, drums and vocals on stage, performing Country and Classic Rock.

Edge of Forever – a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band has members that each have decades of experience.
